TEACHER
For over twenty-five years I have been teaching voice for singers and speakers in New York City. I am available to teach private voice lessons, group lessons, vocal coaching, workshops and master classes. I have received certification in Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method in Levels I, II, and III while attending the Shenandoah Conservatory in Virginia. I combine my Somatic Voicework™ training with the influences of my dynamic mentors along with my professional singing and acting experience.

STUDIO DESCRIPTION
In my studio I concentrate on healthful singing. My goal is to help the student to find joy, freedom and personal expression in singing and speaking - and to keep the student's unique
individuality as a singer and storyteller.
I work with students to build a healthy technique for singing jazz, blues, folk, musical theater, and professional speaking. Teaching is about listening, patience, understanding and two-way communication with the student. It is exhilarating to be a part of the student’s growing awareness of their voice and
body, and to see them achieve their vocal goals!

SING
Together we will work on body awareness, breath management and vocal and physical exercises specifically for your needs. Focusing vocal exercises on what your voice is doing, how it functions.
Functional technique is the key to achieving the ability to sing with ease, to seamlessly move through the chest and head registers. The tools and concepts of Somatic VoiceworkTM provide a clear understanding of the body, the physiology of what is happening in the larynx, as well as a coherent language to communicate
healthy singing and care of the voice.
